This is when the semis should be played at old Trafford, villa park or The Emirates
The cup final lost it's appeal having semis at wembley especially when there's only 60 ,000 inside wembley
Is the correct answer, farcical playing the semi's at wembley.

Millwall get around 11k for a home match (i think) yet have sold their allocation of 31k.

Wigan get around 18k for a home match yet have struggled to sell 20k.

To be fair, Wigan were NEVER going to sell 31k and if/when they get to the final, i doubt they will sell out then as well.

Wigan are being a bit arrogant, they have been saying they will save their money for the final!.......to be fair they are probably going to the final!

I think that is harsh, they just don't have the support to be fair to them. If you can't sell out Premier League home games to ManUtd, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. with the cheapest prices in the league, then it's not arrogance, it's just they don't have the following.

The greedy FA have made their bed's time to face up to the fact clubs like Wigan and Blackburn will never sell out.

And the people that bought a ten year season ticket for every game at wembley will probably miss this semi final between Millwall & Wigan so adding more empty seats,or the CUCUMBER SANDWICH BRIGADE that do go in the seats behind the dug wont be returning to their seats in a hurry after the half time break
Wembley is shit now if I'm honest

I think the original quote was saying they were being arrogant because they were assuming they will definitely get to the final, i.e. 100% beat Millwall. Personally like Wigan, wouldn't mind seeing them in the FA cup final.

I'd like to see Chelsea v Millwall try making that 12 pm Met Police and close all the pubs.

Hardly a fair comparison since Wembley is in London, even ignoring that it is probably a bigger deal for Millwall than Wigan.

It's not like there are a load of fair weather Wigan fans who don't regularly go and watch them play in the league either, they're support is basically saturated now.

To be fair you are right, I never thought of them like that before!, there are a few of their fans saying they are going to wait until they get to the final....little bit Eric Cantona!

I watched the Johstone paint trophy Final on Sunday, Crewe v Southend 44,000
I'm sure games like that would be better at Villa Park or Emirates the atmos would be better at a full Villa Park than a half empty Wembley
