I can't believe we lost today. Those mistakes my Ankergren were appalling. Should be shot.

Sorry what? We haven't played yet? They way people are talking I could have sworn we'd already lost...

Give the team a chance lads, eh?

He won't have anything to do today, we will run this game and get an early goal

I hope Anks has a good game, but I have got no faith in the guy whatsoever.
Just don't rate him.

Will be happy if he proves me wrong though.

With our best team we would do well to snatch a point today but with the injuries and suspensions Forest could well inflict our heaviest defeat of the season, main concern is that we can field a stronger team for the home game on Tuesday

Why say in the pre match press conference they are fine then not play them... Very frustrating! Or is it mind games for the opposition perhaps?

Because despite what people think, the pre match press conferences are not for the fans!

This is no place to be talking sense. Stop it immediately.

Ankergren has only played two games - and in one of them he was arguably at fault for 3 goals.

Giroud's first shot wasn't going to be easy to catch. Top left corner...very few will make that save.
Giroud's second shot was pure chance, Ankergren was right to slide in to make the challenge, it was unfortunate it went in. But then again, what was El-Abd doing?
Walcott's goal was a deflection....again, not much you can do.

I'm not trying to find excuses for the poor lad, and I know we'll concede a few.

But to single him out as the main cause as to why we lost to a traditionally top 4 team is pathetic. Kuszczak could have done more during the Watford game, yet you're not on his back. What about the howler at Birmingham? Nothing.

He's not as good as Kuszczak, but you're inferring that because of Ankergren, we lost against Arsenal. The way we played, it was bound to be a draw. But because of a DEFLECTION - we lost.

And let's bring in Kuszczak's number of games played, in theory, he could of done better. In practice, it's entirely different.

A lot of nonsense about Ankergren here, solid number 2 at this level and easily good enough to step in when required. I have no concerns about his appearance today.

Bigger day for Crofts than for Ankergren.
