Has Palace sold out yet???

  • Thread starter Deleted User X18H

The end of the season just shows a league table it's not gonna say Palace won the league & Brighton finished 7th but because they had more "fans" ( not Brighton fans) just fans attend they will now go up to the premier league instead of Palace. Last time we probably sold out was in the premier league but who cares we've got the same 12/14k who go every week you was struggling to get 7k a few seasons ago but still went up. It's not attendances that get you up its the team & @ the moment Palace are flying & come 12 o'clock on Sunday you shall find this out

The end of season league attendance table does. Look it up, it reflects how good a support a Club has. :D

Certainly not confident of the result - confident we will get more than the 20114 you mustered for the same fixture. Albion have "enjoyed" wretched luck this season whereas Palace seem to have rolled in it. However, things change and should we win then you will never live it down.

This may have escaped your notice, but I really do not give a flying google that you beat us in terms of attendance, the league table is really all I am worried about and I seriously do mean that. Are you going to petition the league that you should go up because of your attendances. Lets face it if you do not go up in the next three years then your attendances will drop, whatever you say that is the reality.
Albion have been unlucky blah blah blah, Palace have had all the luck etc
Albion have done it the right way blah blah blah, Palace have been in admin twice etc
Albion have higher gates blah blah blah, Palace do not etc
Albion have a shiny new stadium blah blah blah, Palace do not etc

Palace are THIRD in the league, Albion MOST DEFINITELY ARE NOT, keep your gates and stadium. Im happy with the way things are.

League position , which you constantly reminded us last season, means nothing if you don't get promoted. Let's see if you can do it - I don't think you will. Luck only lasts for so long - you are due a dose of bad luck . Another season in the Championship will finish you as you cannot keep your better players due to your poxy gates - (ie Zahaha). I can only see Albion getting better and better .

Why not roll out years before that, it does not matter. Seriously who cares, you? well im happy for you.

So what you are saying is...

1. This season's table matters, even though the season hasn't ended.
2. Last season't table doesn't matter, as it's history.
3. The years 1901 - 2011 (give or take) don't matter, as they're history.

Is that right?

At what point does this season's table not matter - is is the very second the whistle blows to end this season, consigning it to history?

The like to restart history after each administration - did you know that Crystal Palace MK III has never been out of the Championship yet never won a F.A. Cup game?

Your condescension would probably work better if you had not just lost, or won your last game, or even had a shot on target etc. All in the name of banter of course.
Given that epsomeagle had chosen selling out games as his angle of attack I'd say it worked just fine

As you love to harp on about attendances Major count how many higher averages you've had than Palace?

So what you are saying is...

1. This season's table matters, even though the season hasn't ended.

Of course this seasons table matters as otherwise we may as well end the season now, strange question really.

2. Last season't table doesn't matter, as it's history.

Only from a historical/statistics standpoint. Also to relive past glories/memorable events. But im more interested in what will happen this season than what happened last.

3. The years 1901 - 2011 (give or take) don't matter, as they're history.

See answer to number 2

Is that right?

Nope, I would say the moment the whistle blows to kick off the 2013/2014 season is when this season does not become as important anymore, people look to the future do they not. I dont wake up in the morning and think "oh sod it, I wont bother with life today as I done that yesterday".

Losing Zaha to Manchester United has nothing to do with our gates. Zaha went to United because he is far too good to play in the Championship. He is a top 4 player, he knows it, we know it and Alex Ferguson knows it.

Even if we were getting 35k fans in the stadium every week, we wouldn't have been able to keep Zaha. He was simply too good for this league.

As for luck... you have no idea. We have been extremely unlikely at times today, and Leeds were very fortunate to leave Selhurst tonight with a point as you'll see on the FLS as we're the extended highlights game. The more I watch this team, the more I'm convinced that we are the best team in the division at the moment. Cardiff are slipping up, we've outplayed both Watford and Hull, and with 9 games left I wouldn't be surprised to see Watford and Palace automatically promoted.

Fair enough.

But a mid-season table really doesn't matter, because we never do 'end the season now' until the end of injury time of the second half of the 46th game.

Do you actually think we will blow it again? I am confident of a play off place now and I am really pessimistic when it comes to Palace. I think that you lot are a bit to blinded by your rivalry with us, some of you were happy that Leeds were beating us when surely it would have been better for you if we had beat them? as they are one of the teams who could come out of the pack?

So how come last year when we finished above you rolled out the 'we've been above you for 30 years blah blah blah'. You lot reek of double standards

Football fans in "changing the rules when their team is doing well" shocker ???

Come on. We've got a better team than you and we're rubbing it in while it lasts because it's completely possible that in a few years things could have changed.
