In its inception in 2011, did the smart casual rules outlaw jeans, but the Club kind of realised that was unenforceable?

so long as the jeans are sensible, mine are dark blue, never worn a suit, shoes are a must

Its only a one off match---will have to abandon the five plonkers I usually go with and go with my eldest plonker son who has seen two games in a season and a half----PLASTIC FAN:wink:

Now listen UP, I've just got the ESU view on the OP, we'll be using strong arm tactics this Sat, that's from someone ITK, zero tollerence of PJ's, TS's and STI's in the '01 and JCL's will be GENTLY reminded once only that DJ's are preferred and that you must sit down and SHUT up. You will notice that it is the NORM in the 01. FYI, Ernest has been given full reign to EXPEL, he loves ejecting, my little Ern.

I've got seats in North (personal) and 1901 (work) - its an easy stereo type to suggest those in 1901 are not there to enjoy the game, they don't share the 'passion' of other true fans (especially the North)but from own experience most I've met there seem born and bred and die hard Albion fans who for their own reasons use it - perhaps as a more comfortable experience, there's no two ways, it definitely is that, maybe even as the view to watch the game is excellent (SW1901 is superb) and perhaps just as a hell of a lot of business is actually done there which is no bad thing as most of it is local businesses helping each other - either way it is far from snobby (surprised me a bit that as I did semi expect it to be) and from a financial viewpoint, massively helps fill the clubs coffers too so whilst I enjoy the North for certain games, I wouldn't knock those that chose to upgrade to 1901 if circumstances allow them to....Oh and last time I went I've never once seen a prawn sandwich either!

I have heard that parts of 1901 are less Albion than they should be, but the upper middle west part I'm in is true Albion fanatics - people I've seen at away games for years and people who have done a lot to help the club through the hard times ( that's why they were given the offer of the best seats first ). I think it's value for money, but then I also think all parts of the ground are too. I have also taken the chance to swap seats and enjoy the experience from the North, UW, LW and am going to try the East when I get a chance.

This took place directly after the match---we went through various doors and up various stairs to come out in a busy Profile. @Dewe & I were wearing our stripes but no one said anything:albion2: As I was getting a 'Harvey's Macca came past me to get his MOM award:ohmy:
