Why does tb not convert his investment into shares now?

Surely the value of the club now would enable him to take a near 100% of the club? His input at the moment £100 million stadium, £15 million training facilities,£16 million losses,so his commitment must be 130-140 million, would this not be the value of the Albion now? If promoted would the value not double? Surely if anyone should be able to make a potential profit in the future it should be tb? Or is it not that simple?

Can he move the goalposts on when he can convert his investment into shares, without the agreement of the other directors?

I have no idea, just a thought.

I have no idea about financial matters really but a guy I was talking to recently, some sort of investment banker type, said exactly the same thing.

I was talking to a guy from Steyning, who suggested that TB gets all his financial tips from NSC. At the time I thought he was a bit of a cock, but now I'm not so sure.

I'm sure he has a good reason for not doing it,just intrigued as to why???

That reply suggests that you believe there is nobody on here that could be of any help to TB on money issues. Interesting stance.

no offence intended dkm. My intention was to treat the subject with the gravity which it deserved, - er very little

I suppose ownership, operating loss and things like that deserve to pushed aside while the ball boy issue is thrashed out:facepalm:

NO-ONE would pay £ 130 M for a Professional Football Club in the current climate, there are clubs like Portsmouth in Admin who can't find a buyer when their debts are of a similar order of magnitude.

If the club were promoted, it would require further investment to improve the playing squad in the short term.

TB doesn't view his investment as a short term 'punt', he's in it for the long haul. You should be very happy that he isn't converting his investment into shares, because it's keeping people like the Venky's, the Chainrai's and the Glaziers etc, well away from our club.
