Who knows Ba has £7million release clause and proven goal scoring record, Rhodes £8 million for unproven championship striker, Zaha £45million who knows there is so little consistency in pricing

Liverpool are hilariously bad at transfers, so probably. Would be absolutely wonderful if they do splash £6mil on Tom ince, a player they let go to Blackpool just this summer for a nominal fee of about £200k

Liverpool like overpaying for strikers.

£12m for Sturridge or £7m for Ba?

Carroll cost them £35m, so the question should be is he worth 1/3rd Andy Carroll?

Liverpool have paid silly prices for very average players for a long time... Henderson, Downing, Carroll, Borini, Allen, Aqualani etc

Nope, but then I'm of the opinion that football finance is a complete joke. His transfer fee alone is the equivalent of the annual pay of 600 nurses.

Pathetic.

Mad innit. Was about to quote you to say how Sturridge's wages will be much lower, but according to the link below he'll be on 80k a week. Demba Ba (according to the Telegraph) will sign for somewhere in the 70k ballpark (it actually states they offered a fair bit less than that).

Liverpool continue to overspend on average players.
