with Bristol city bringing not many what does everyone think the crowd will be and this is from there website today i reckon will be the same sort of crowd we got for Peterborough

City fans will NOT be able to pay on the night at Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow.

So far 235 tickets have been sold to Robins supporters for the npower Championship match at the Amex Stadium.

Tickets can still be purchased from the BCFC Megastore at Ashton Gate or by calling 0117 963 0600 until midday tomorrow (Tuesday).

But there will be no lifting of an all-ticket ruling in the away end at Brighton, so fans must purchase a ticket before travelling.

Similar turnout to the Peterborough match I suppose.

West...West.......WEST SUSSEX
it'll be 23,971 end of

Settle for that......we are going to sell 22k to 24k for the less attractive fixtures, plus its a night game and coming up to christmas. The more attractive games against teams with large support on a Saturday will bring in 25k to 26.5k. For the BIG games......ie Palace and if the new seats are ready for use we could reach 27-30k probably 28.5................all points to an average of 25k overall......outstanding.

Decent, but is it sustainable? As much as Palace goad us about "plastics" the fact is a lot of the 25k aren't true 'Albion' fans, they're just rich individuals or medium income families who have jumped on a band wagon for something to do on a Saturday. How long until the novelty wears off if we are still drawing games and generally not winning and the attendances start to drop?

As a little anecdote of my point, outside the Amex on Saturday I heard five different people say:
Person 1 :"What a good game"
Person 2: "It's a shame Bolton scored"
Person 1: "Oh did they? I didn't notice"

They didn't notice or even care that Brighton had thrown away two points which makes you wonder how much they'll want to watch Brighton vs. Hull in the Championship on a cold, wet Tuesday in two years time.

What with Christmas shopping and Eastenders on TV, I would expect we're looking at a Withdeanesque 3,546 (if you take out the comps etc.). I heard a vicious one that they were only going to open the South Stand tonight and that everyone would be relocated from their usual seats to the South end.
