Dunk or El Abd on Tues?

Only due to El Abd's injury. He's the reserve centre back. My personal preference in time would be Dunk and El Abd.

Dunk is the future and there's very little between all 3 of them. For that reason it's Dunk for me.

I'd contest whether they are better players. And like I said - if they are, it's only by a small margin.
There's only so long you can keep younger players with the quality Dunk has as back-up before they shoot off somewhere else. He's already proven he's a good defender at this level. The more game-time he gets he'll continue to progress his development and his value will increase. If there's no need to drop him then he should stay in the side. And there's not. So keep him in the team.
This he has done nothing wrong he keeps the shirt

WRONG there are two reasons:
1. Not as good as the other two
2. Does not offer the same cover to Greer to form a successful partnership as El Abd.

At what point are you going to wind your neck in? you keep telling those that have a different opinion to you they are wrong.........it's their opinion and they have a right to it!! And as much as you brush over it you do come across as though you have a pathological dislike for LD.

Why should BG wind his neck in as you so charmingly put it,he has replied with an opinion which is what this forum is about.As it goes i disagree with most of what BG posts but i respect his opinion, you however come across as the play ground bully as do many on here it seems

Football would lose a lot of its popularity without opinions and it is common knowledge that everybody can pick a better team than the man responsible whether it be for Brighton or England or whoever.

ElAbd must take the shirt over Dunk ,but greers constant foul mouthed abuse at Kuszack our best player and the best keeper in this division shows to me he needs to be dropped now and replaced by Dunky, and the captains armband given to ElAbd or Crofty

Our problem isn't defence it's scoring goals. We could have the worlds best centre back but if we miss a dozen clear cut chances with poor League 1 strikers we are rarely going to win.

I'd start Ad all day,, but i would like to see Ad and Dunks on at the same time.
Where GG will often look for the long ball, there two will both look for an easier ball out carry it into the mix then lay it off easy. I'm intrigued to see a game when we only have that from defence.
We might also get the chance to see what we'd miss without GG, if anything at all, at least then we'll know!

El Abd is the best defender at this club. Gus's words, not mine, and Gus knows far more abut football than I do (or you, for that matter, unless you're Gus reading this - which I doubt!) Greer has been a bit below par lately, so maybe time to give him a rest / kick up the bum and play Dunk and El Abd against a team we SHOULD see off easily -we are better then them. Still, we're not great at seeing off teams we should be seeing off at the moment, are we? Maybe Gus should stick with his first choices (whatever they are - he gets paid for it - I don't!)

You must be joking. Dunk is a good player but his passing lets him down. It seems that when he has too much time on the ball he gets caught in two minds and gives it away.
El-Abd in the team for me every game if he's fit. We missed him so much against Palace at the Amex last year. He'll need 70+ minutes or so run out tonight to get match sharpness back for Saturday. Dunk hasn't done anything particularly wrong, but El-Abd is our best centre back and so needs to be starting especially when it comes to doing a marking job on someone i.e. Murray
