Quite possibly the best game on the Amiga 500.

Edit: Picture is slightly bigger than i thought but it adds to the impact.

I had an Atari 130xe & 600xl both were brilliant although the loading times were immense!

I also had an Amiga 500 and only the other day, I played Alien Breed and Heimdall 2!

I had a Amiga 1200 and loved it Alien Breed, Mircosoft Soccer, Championship Manager 93.

You'd need to specify which models of machine you're comparing.

The big battle when I were a lad was between the Amiga 500 and the Atari ST, which was a pretty tight run thing too.

In which case I'd like to put my weight behind the AMIGA

What an absolute BADBOY

This is the machine that introduced me to Lemmings, Monkey Island and Rainbow Island (no relation). Happy days

Also what about The Great Giana Sister's? British made version of Mario only much better.

Owned both at different times. Atari was better in my opinion. Didn't need to load up its o/s unlike amiga which you had to wait for. Windows long before Microsoft. Those were the days.

I spent many an hour (and knackered many a mouse) playing this on the ST back in the day. I also had an Amiga 500, which saw a lot of Kick-Off 2 action.

I couldn't really say which was better; as a kid in the era before Sega, Sony and Ninendo arrived on the scene, the two of them just seemed awesome!

Does anyone else remember Moonstone? One of the goriest games ever, at the time, it was banned in a lot of countries. This of course made it even more exciting to me as a teenage boy.

I remember thinking the graphics were amazing

I was an Amiga boy. Superior graphics, better spec, and FAR superior sound. I gather the Atari ST was more compatible to connect up to synthesisors and various other gubbins, but I didn't give a TOSS about all that.

And Kick Off 2 was just so playable it was absolutely ridiculous.

RIDICULOUS.
