Okay I confess, I have never bet and do not understand odds, could someone give me an example plse, If I put a fiver on us winning at 17/10, what would I get back??

A fiver on at 17/10 would return £13.50.

17/10 means that if you put 10 on you would win 17, therefor if you bet 5 you would win 8.50

Not on yet, but £2 on Bruno first scorer. About 50/1 I expect.

We've shot ourselves in the foot here, or at least with Skybet, as Bruno is now 33/1.

I kind of work it out by putting everything back to 1. E.g. 17/10 is the same as 1.7/1 it's just bookies don't use fractions and decimals in the same thing

Dean Hammond to score at any time, 6/1. £5 win, so I would be relatively pleased with that. I'm also continuing my trend of backing us to win in a double with whoever Portsmouth are playing, it is going reasonably at the moment! Tonight it happens to be Swindon, who are odds against. £5 double on the pair of us to win returns £25 so that would be rather nice. That double PLUS Hammond popping up with a goal would do me VERY nicely.

If not, Hammond OUT.
