Okay, now that evens up their 'ghost' gaol in Euro 2012. Cheating :tosser:

No it doesn't, because their player was offside anyway. Why does everyone always ignore this? They weren't hard done by at all.

Less than an hour and a half away.

Has it been mentioned yet?

Does anyone care about England any more?

Didn't even know it was on, and now I do I'm still can't be bothered to watch it and won't even bother finding out the score before I go to bed. (I still don't know what the score was vs. Moldova to be honest).

Will have some dinner and do some work tonight instead. That is how far England have dropped off my radar, and that is almost entirely down to the players being a bunch of overpaid, over-rated, uninspiring knobbers.

Starting to get through them. Usual story. We are 3rd in the World Rankings because we ARE one of the best teams in the world....when the pressure is OFF. We've been very clinical in qualifiers over the last 3/4 years, only Spain, Holland and Germany have generally been as good.

Play the links of Slovenia in the qualifiers? No problems, 3-0 win.
Put them in our group in a major tournament? Shit...what do we do? Nervy 0-0? Fortunate 2-1?

No, we are 3rd in the world rankings because apparently penalties don't count. Italy are 3rd or 4th in the world and made us look like a pub side. Indeed, if Balotelli hadn't played like a pub player himself, we'd have lost by a cricket score.

Oh and I don't give much of a shit either. It's on, but only in the background whilst I get some work done and browse on here.

None of what you've said there really changes the fact that we ARE one of the most clinical sides in qualifying. Unfortunately we just can't replicate it when it matters, often against similar strength sides.

That's what was so bizarre about WC2010, and why Capello was confused as us. We were RAPING teams the level of Algeria and Slovenia in qualifying. The only 2 sides who matched our qualifying record going to that tourney were Spain and Holland - they were able to take that winning mentality into it and reach the final.

Also, if Rooney had been sharp he would've scored that open goal, so swings and roundabouts. I'm not suggesting we're great attacking wise in that game for a second.

This. English and proud. We are ranked in the top five in the world. How can people day we are crap? Your right, people on here think the Albion are man ure now. Are we not getting above ourselves?
To clarify, I am not saying we're crap. I am saying we are nowhere near the #3 side in the world. We're probably 7th or 8th, slightly below our accustomed position in the world pecking order.

I'm also saying I don't really give much of a toss about England these days, certainly when compared to years gone by.
