Instead of being looked after and nurtured by poyet and bloom as a promising youngster from the development squad caskey is dumped off to oxford,Poyet realy does have alot to learn .Chelsea, is he taking the piss,Gus will be lucky to manage seaford when Tony sacks him

Change the record. Every one of your posts in the past 24 hours has been the same. Why not just make it your signature then you only have to type three letters for a valid post and it'll save you a lot of time. I know you don't think the stuff you write and you obviously write it for a reaction (I bit) but it's a bit of a sad way to spend a lot of your time if you think about it.

do you actually remember where we were when gus took over, we were heading for league two and three years later we are a top ten championship club what else is the bloke supposed to do, yeah he has his faults and makes mistakes but what manager hasn't, maybe you wish we were back in league one trying to kick our way out of it, we have come a long way in a short time and after one league game you are saying bye bye gus, people like you are never going to be happy

If everything we've heard re. Sparrow, Vincelot, Harley & Hoskins is true added to the fact that Subs bench is back to 7 this season it makes the decision to send JFC out on loan very strange. If they end up leaving then surely he's going to need to bring in a least 1 more MF for cover or we will be very light.

Is JFC on a season loan, if so I think it sends the wrong message to the lad ..... Loan until Christmas proe yourself then your in first team squad for rest of season.
Shame is for a lot of us he had already proved himself and with 2 extra subs plus words by Gus that this would help younger ( dev squad) play a role JFC being sent out on loan is bemusing at best.....
Is it a case of another ambitious young man who has upset Gus or potentially agent (step father) being vocal. It seems Gus does not like input ... He likes to make the decisions ... several previous examples when we were in first division ... McNulty, Dickinson, Davies ...
I hope we see JFC back this season, with the "unwanted 4 or is it now 5" plus weeks of imminent signings, mention of gems etc by Gus things are obviously a tad difficult it seems at moment at Club. I'm sure things will get better, but sending out our best talent isn't something that's going to start making us feel better! For those of us who saw Harley play (?) in midfield a away against Swindon how on earth could he have been chosen and played over JFC? Think we sent the wrong one out on loan to Oxford Gus ... One has a future the other doesn't!!!!

Apologies for going on about JFC but 1 issue that has not been mentioned is development .... JFC could learn buckets from a season training/ playing with Vicente. JFC could turn out to be a game changing player. Who is he going to model himself on at Oxford, whose going to protect him when he gets a late challenge....he will have less time on ball in Division 2.

I'm going with my son to see Oxford v Southend on Tuesday. Hoping JFK will be playing, can't really see any reason why after Saturday!
It ought to be remembered that Oxford already have a 4 or five players out with injuries including Duberry, Whing, Leven and Horley. Be interesting to see what happens when they are fit...or could it be JFK will be automatic first choice.

I've a feeling JFC's loan is only till January, but I could be wrong.
That would be the only solution for me. I do appreciate he's still young, he needs games, he needs to develop etc, but I was disappointed when this was announced, and remain so now. I feel he's worthy of a place in our matchday squad, especially given 7 subs and the probable departures of Harley, Sparrow, Hoskins and Vincelot.
A year ago, Gus held up JFC as an example of someone who'd lose out with the 5 subs change. Now we're 12 months on and back to 7 subs, we ship him out for match practice to D2.

I know that JFK has been sent on loan to gain experience of first team football but the decision seems strange when you compare the situation with Toby. Why has Toby he been kept to play a part time role in our team? When jake has played he has shown what he can do, looked the part and scored goals. Toby really looks out of his depth so far.

Because we have had strikers injured therefore have needed cover... Also, to say he has been out of his depth is ridiculous, he has looked sharp and last season when he came on in games he looked like he could make a difference.

He is only on loan until Christmas, which rather renders the rest of your rant pointless.
He's a great little player, but I have no problem with sending him out to get experience of playing against men (rather than young lads in the DS or sitting on our bench). Let him do that for six months, come back an even better player, and we get the benefit.
I do hope we're not going to have this crappy debate every time he scores a goal or plays well for Oxford.
