If there was a general election tomorrow, which political party would you vote for?

The one which promises renationalise the rail network, promises to facilitate the building of the 500,000+ homes that are desperately needed in the south east and the one that promises to clamp down on benefit fraud.

None of the exisiting parties seem to be that bothered by these issues though so I guess I'll be spoiling my ballot paper.

I've never taken a stance or any interest in this countries politics. Whether that's a bad thing or not, I simply believe the politicians tell us what we want to hear but don't follow through.
All talk, no action.
All I care about is getting paid, enjoying my job and going on the odd holiday.

Can't believe that Labour are in the lead...seems nobody has learnt that the last three labour Governments dropped this country in the mire by strikes,overspending,lies....at least UKIP are second.

OMG. 6 NSChatters want Ed Balls to destroy the economy & pile up debt again!

Some people have amazingly short memories!

It's only taken a couple of years, but everyone is remembering exactly why Labour got in in the first place back in '97!

More worrying is the votes for the BNP, although not too difficult to guess the likely candidates there...

It's fine saying we need 500,000 new homes...maybe we do...but then you need, more doctors, schools, jobs, shops, water supply,roads,infrastructure...would be better to cut down on immigration which labour gave us with our open door policy....thanks Blair....

I've decided that the whole lot of them are twats. We are about to plunge into a disaster of epic proportions as the euro zone collapses and god knows what will follow. The outcome for all of us will be grim. What we do now is critical as very soon we will be in a very dangerous place. It might sound alarmist but there are no parties or politicians in our current setup who will be capable of dealing with the chaos that is surely coming.

Stock up on food and water. Prepare yourselves.

I would vote for a party that showed that it understood global economics and that it had a coherent and sustainable plan for dealing with the current situation.

Looks like a spoiled vote then doesn't it............................???

Some people have amazingly short memories!

Hopefully in the real poll in 2015, if Balls is still around, a majority will swerve around his Party & policies.

Balls & Moribund haven't set the public imagination alight like Thatcher in 1979 and Blair in 1997. Quite the opposition.
Just a case of mid term gaffs highlighted by the media for the Gov't.
