Whilst I have no fondness of Murdoch, I do miss the News Of The World as my Sunday tabloid. I have been reading the Sunday Mirror now and again but it's not the same. I am assuming that Sun on Sunday will be the NOTW with a different title?

Well, there HAS to be at least one written medium to ruin lives on a sunday doesn't there?! 
Replacing the NoTW, which was closed due to phone hacking, with the SoS, which is currently being investigated for bribing police officers.

Good news the current sunday tabloids are pony. Looking forward to a couple of thrupenny bits on page 3. Reading who Russell Brand is now shagging and very informative sports coverage. All this over an egg and bacon banjo and a cup of tea every Sunday morning. Then off to the Rub a Dub Dub for a few sherberts. I am Brighton and not Millwall by the way.

The N of W sports coverage especially football was good have been buying The People since the demise of the Nof W but it is no here near as good.

I'm sure all NSC readers of the Sun, Express and Mail wear ironic half-smiles as they flip through those jolly pages, fully understanding that they are spending but a few moments being amused by latter-day versions of Comic Cuts. The concern is that some other people think that they are newspapers.

There are a fair few of us who also buy a sensible broadsheet on a Sunday as well. I like to have a mixture on a Sunday, interesting articles in one and good old smut/decent sports coverage in the other.

They all are newspapers. Just because the views expressed in them dont chime in your view of the world doesn't make them 'comic cuts'. We should be proud of a range of newspapers that we have in this country, newspapers that embrace both ends of the political spectrum and that appeal to all demographics, age and gender. There is room for tabloids (and demand judging by circulation) the same as there is for broadsheets. Fail to understand why people get so 'sniffy' about 'daily mail readers' or 'Sun readers'...................let people choose the paper they want to read and dont label them or their choice of paper.
