Thinking of investing in a pair of these does anyone have them and what are they like.

Any feedback would be very useful.

I've got the Beats "tour". What do you want to know? They will never be as good as normal headphones, but out of all of the "in ear" ones these are
Probably the best IMHO. I have had the Bose in ear ones, and these are better. The Tour ones are the ones with the flat cable (bit like Tagliatelle). They come with 3 different size ear plugs, 6 in total, 3 in ear and 3 noise cancelling ones ( they go right done your ear canal!)

So those are the ones circa £140 ? Was looking at the option of these tax free or would they be cheaper in $s ?

They do look good is the sound quality very good as well.

Oh and Mr Tubthumper I know you like me but stop stalking me as well

Beats are what the youngsters are wearing to look 'cool' innit, I did loads of research into them including asking questions on audiophile forums and the answers were unanimous. Dont bother!

If they didn't have Dr Dre's name on them they would be half the price. Klipsch are decent by all accounts.

When you read reviews against other brands Beats don't always fair too well. Current reviews put things like Phonak Audeo PFE012s at the top of the in ear list (£80) with Klipsch Image X10i and Soundmagic E10 rated more highly too. Sennheiser IE80s are very highly rated but the price, £270, knocks them down the 5star rating list a bit.

i heard this as well. where are you planning on wearing them? train? gym? home? personally i use the apple ones supplied with my ipod and iphone. for me they are fine. i dont particularly want Tinnitus anytime soon so i dont crank it up too loud using earphones so wouldnt notice the difference in quality even if i did invest in better earphones.

Unless you have hearing difficulties already, I guarantee you would notice an immense difference with any of the 'phones I mentioned above, no matter what music you, listen to, or at what volume, compared to the iPod standard in-ears.

Well they are mainly when travelling on a train and I detest the iPod ones they are really rank.

Klipsch look quite good but looking to get them as cheap as possible.

Well I'm happy with them., and I'm very fussy. Not as good as headphones as I said, but it's a very personal thing

Have got some Klipsch x10i's and they are awesome. For such a small unit the depth of bass delivered is amazing. And they are beautiful as well.

To be honest Beachy the production on Bon Jovi's early albums and that Chris de Burgh compilation of yours (I must give back) don't warrant the expense.

Especially as you are resistant to upgrade from cassette to CD.

Going to cost you about £150. I use small over-ear Senneiser with SoundGuard sound isolating, one AAA battery, lasts for 2-3 weeks. cancels out a lot of the ambient sound so you can't hear people talking bollocks around you, and also on the tube they all but cancel the noise of the train, you get lovely music, not too loud, and no interruptions from noise around you.

Sorry mate but never ever needed to buy a battery as well ?

I rarely use headphones, don't have one those interweb walkman things - but I do sometimes listen to a light entertainment programme on the gramophone at work.

Annoyingly I appear to have one ear'ole bigger than the other, so one is always popping out.

Unfortunately unlike Clarks, you can't buy odd earphones.
