About the only entertaining thing in the 2nd half and how slow were our stewards to react ?

Looked as if it really kicked off at one point so how many were ejected, looked like 3 to me.

Took only a couple of minutes for the whiff to reach all the way round to the North Stand. Nowhere for the smoke to escape to. Looked a bit of a MELEE at the Cov end.

I think it could be rather lively next Saturday too as Nottingham Forest have always had a top firm.

I thought it was the "flarest" thing the Coventry fans did all game! :jester:

Was quite funny. A steward went and stood amongst them after it had calmed down a bit, so they started jumping around him, not letting him out.

I love hand-held flares and smoke bombs. Used properly, they are perfectly safe. They add to the atmosphere at European football matches and I'd be perfectly happy to see them used at English games.

I do, however, understand that they are not permitted at English matches - so, obviously, the stewards needed to take action. But I just wish the rules could be different.

Just saying, like.

If the stewards had ignored the flare there would have been less problems. As it was, 25 yellow jackets sprinted to the scene which created more problems.

Sent from my wardrobe whilst watching Susannah Reid and Sian Williams enjoy a clam sandwich.

Are they? (genuine question)
