We all noticed how Dunk, who by injury circumstances got his break, has excelled.

Of course its for Gus and Tanno to pick the best team, but having noticed again JF-C has been called up to England under 18's, and the fact the Palace have first team regular John Williams (17) and Derby had a 15 year old last night start up front called Mason Bennett, seems to show if you're good enough your old enough.

On that basis, If you could choose right now, would you pick Harley or Forster-Caskey?

Ridiculous question there are all sorts of reasons Jake shouldn't be called up at the moment not least because of the bad streak we are on and what that could have on a young players morale/confidence if it continued with him in the team.

That John Williams of Palace who is 17, i think got his first start against us, and that win was the start of a good run for them, I thought he was outstanding. The antithesis to your argument DBB is he is not tarnished with whats gone on before, he will be hungry and desperate to take that chance and clearly, right now the midfield are not creating enough chances for the attackers, as the stats bear out....... why not try something different?

Neither, but if I had to pick it would be Ryan Harley. Panicking and throwing in a 17 year old kid because we're on a bad run is not the answer. Regardless of what Palace or any other side our doing. Gus knows a damn sight more than any of us and JFC clearly isn't ready yet. He picked the right time to start playing Dunk. I'm certain he'll pick the right time to start JFC as well.

Meopham, Kent.
Is this on the assumption that Vicente is out injured then, as I'd rather have him in that role than either Harley or Jakey.

Palace were on an OK form when we played them, chucking in a 17 year old kid in the hope that it might work when we are struggling on the pitch is a bit deperate. Also having watched Jake on a number of occassions, he is not out and out attacking and more of a Dicker style player who picks the ball up in defence and tries to move it forward.

Injuries first picked Dunk in the team, I wouldn't say Gus chose the time this season atleast, he did against MK Dons for his debut though. I think needs must. We need to change something and if we aren't going to play with 2 wingers, then we should have someone in the centre who wants to get on the ball and create attacks. We've seen very little of Caskey but from what he showed against Yeovil, he could be the player we need. Unfortunately, we put a lot of time and effort into getting Ryan Harley, so he's going to get the opportunity to prove why.
