I'd add Arsenal in '79 to the list - the night they took the North Stand. Got a broken nose after that one.

Just wanna job. I'd sell candy on the Pier (Don't frighten then the kids)

Bradford Park Avenue Hooligan Army. He was 6' 4" and had a bad attitude.

Held up pit shafts with his pinkie.

I must be a JCL, I can only remember Birmingham '84 out of that list! I remember Oxford brought an impressive mob down around '84-'85, anyone remember that?

Remember the Oxford game well because i got nicked and it cost me £350 in fines (not my proudest moment, its not big and its not clever). It kicked off big time in Hove Park

No one remember Oxford in Hove Park 1984 or Northampton 1987?

Was that a few 45 year Millwall (dockers?) in the north stand?

It was the surgical masks and general thuggery. I think, although memory may be fading they were all positioned underneath the west stand

Far too young to have seen any of the mobs mentioned so I'll say Cardiff City at the Goldstone in March 1997. The Soul Crew seemed to be everywhere outside the north stand and in the park after the game. I got punched in the face for no reason.

From my recollection Brighton had the upper hand at this one.

Recall a rather tasty (and ugly) looking mob from Bolton roaming around Hove Station post match in the early 90's but was limited to posturing (I think).

Spurs (78) , West Ham (78) , Millwall (77) make Palace (11) look like nursery schoolchildren.

Wasn't the Spurs game only possible to buy tickets to if you went to the Reserves game the week previous?

nope - cash on the door. Can't recall if we even did all ticket games in 1978?

Palace have always run us ragged. They say so on the BBS so it must be true.
Odd that. Similarly, there are stains on their board who insist 6 stains ran the entire north stand on their own in 1978 which is a little hard to believe considering Southampton have never really had a firm.

I did find it odd but am respectfull to our masters on the BBS. By cripes I saw that the only punches landed last tuesday was on Nanas and lickle kids. Their main mob was imperressive!
