So you don't think even one Palace fan has ideas above their station?
I'm not deluded. We are an average size club, with an intelligent chairman who is a life long fan, who can easily afford what he has spent (mostly the ground) and who's not looking to make a profit from our club. He's brought in a great young manager who got our players to play better than they have and easily win L1 last year. He's not got the same players plus a few to be higher in the league than you'd expect us to be on paper. Despite our great start, I don't expect us to be promoted this year, because their are clubs spending big money to make it to the premiership this year. But I think we'll finish higher than Palace.
What do you think, do you think we'll be broke in a few years (pot, kettle)? If so, you're the deluded one. And do you think you'll finish in top 6 as you currently are? Or are you less of a thinking man, or more of an insults kind of guy?

I have never envied another club, even when we were utter shite and scrapping it out with Hereford for the right to be a league club. I would hope that most football fans understand that you simply play the hand you are dealt. Bollocks to envy.

We've gone from being a small club whose gates had fallen to below 5,000 four years ago to a bigger outfit, but there are clubs in this league with more history, more money to spend and more fans.

I find it hard to disagree with this, some Albion fans are setting us up for a fall. What do you imagine the caravan dwellers up the road would do with a thread like this? If we go on a bad run (and that will happen at some point) They will bounce this thread and link to it from every football forum on the net. We have had an excellent start and things are very exciting for us at the moment, so lets enjoy the ride for now,and stop gloating.
