Surely Naved has to bowl at the incoming tailender Imran Tahir, an anagram of which (interestingly) is: RRANA! HIT 'IM!

FFS - 255/9 now - they've accelerated since Cork departed.

266 a/o

So 233 to win then.

Cork and co will be licking their lips with such a massive lead to defend. :nono:

233 to win, more realistically, 4 sessions for Hants to bowl us out for the win.

266ao was twice as much as they needed.

With a lead of 233 Corkie can afford to have 4 slips, a silly mid-on and a silly mid-off. The good news is that if Hants wrap this up tonight the Sussex players can put their feet up in front of the golf tomorrow.

1 off the first over. Well below the run-rate required, start slogging now

Hold on, that was Dominic Cork STEAMING in there. Can you imagine the intense pressure created by an unplayable bowler bowling to a field of six slips and a gully?

Cork will strike at least 4 times before the close tonight. The other bowlers will decide whether it will all be wrapped up by day 3 or whether we'll get a cheeky morning session of heroic but futile Sussex batting.

Joyce 2 runs off 16 balls. For his sake I hope he's not wearing a thong, those stats indicate he must be filling up as Cork and Ali steam in like some 1970s Windies throwback...

I should think Joyce has faced plenty faster than Cork. Its just How Cork bowls is the problem.
