I am not going to check all 18 pages but I think from a football perspective I will win this hands down.
In a radio review when the England Euro 1992 squad each picked their favourite ever songs, Martin Keown's was Tainted Love.
I have to say that is my most useless fact ever, not just music or football!

Manson also wrote a song for the Beach Boys, which I believe they even recorded

Dennis was in awe of Manson, pre the Sharon Tate murders, allegedly, so quite likely.

Nick Beggs of Kajagoogoo fame was nearly blinded by a peacock

Nick Beggs is a born again Christian, he allegedly sacked form lead singer Limahl from Kagagoogoo because the latter is gay. Limahl at the time shared a flat with Radio One DJ Paul Gambachini leading to rumours that they were in a relationship but both denied this.

Steely Dan were named after a large dildo that was mentioned in William Burroughs novel, 'The Naked Lunch'. 10cc got their name as that is (allegedly) the amount of semen ejaculated from the average male orgasm.

A large dildo? The mind boggles. Probably later bought by Madge.

True. It's called "Never Learn Not To Love" on the 20/20 album. It's not credited to him, but his original, "Cease To Exist" can be heard online and is clearly the same song.

Charles Manson did not audition for The Monkees though. That's a myth. He was in prison between 1961 - 1967, while the auditions were in 1965.

That Beach Boys album, 20/20, features songs by three convicted killers in all (Leadbelly and Phil Spector are the other two) as well as the drumming talents of another killer, Jim Gordon (killed his mum with a hammer after Derek and the Dominos broke up), AND a recording of Dennis Wilson having sex on the floor of the studio with a prostitute.

Fatboy Slim a.k.a Norman Cook has had the honour of not one but two of his tunes used as background to the greatest ever clip on YouTube which shows highlights of the Albion's stunning 2010/11 season.

Former Guns 'n Roses lead guitarist Slash A.K.A. Seth Hudson is actually British having been born in Hampstead, his mother was African American and his father was English. He spent his early years in Stoke but escaped to L.A. at the age of five. Apart from being named as one of the World's best guitarists he was also a junior BMX Champion.
