On second thoughts take out El-Abd, will be a solid squad player in the Championship but if we harbour aspirations of top 6 then he should not be a starter IMO

Trade Noone for Bennett and Murray for Barnes. Would agree with the others mind.

I take it you are anticipating Bennett and Murray will be leaving the club then Da Man Clay?

Indeed I am BBBW. I think Murray will get a better deal elsewhere and Bennett hasn't really looked the same since January. I would imagine that if Norwich come calling again we'll let him go.

Sparrow and Dicker are very good players and I fully think they can make the step up to the championship, in fact I think it will suit there style better

Sub ST: -

I also think it is unlikely Murray and Bennett will be here next season.

To do well, I think we need at least a GK, LB, CB, LW, RW, CM, ST, ST (assuming Murray and Bennett go).

Another RB, ST would be handy.

Plenty of money needs to be spent then Sam.....

The first team should all have a chance to start.

They earned the right to play in the Championship, and how many opposition players will be vastly superior to them?

No doubt Gus will bring in some new faces and unload some others though - and if any get precious about contracts they could look silly getting replaced

i think the starting 11 come 6/8/11 will be
1: Ankers
2: Calde
3: Painter
4: Greer
5: El Ab
6: Bridcutt
7: Sparrow
8: Dicker
9: Bennett
10: Noone
11: Murrey

12: Barnes
14: Brez
15: Dunk
16: Woods
17:Caskey
18: Elphick.

It was good enough to stroll this league with out breaking a sweat, they play a great brand of passing football suited to the championship and with the new ground, will be a good bet for the play offs. Strengthen???? they will need to be good players to add strenght to it. Thats my opinion anyway for whats its worth, basically saying, if no one goes and no one comes in, then we are still in good shape.

why not both not many defences even in the championship could cope with the pair of them flying at them

Save a place for Lua-Lua please!
I hope Gus is still determined to get his man
