The same series, with 28 days later style mentalZOMBS, would be ten times better, no?

Well yes but its not about the zombies, well it is in thats what humanity is on the run from but its more about the characters and how people can and do change in the face of adversity! Its not supposed to be scary on that level. Its supposed to be scary in the "how can you treat others like that?"...

Hopefully no spoilers in this thread (I haven't read it all the way through myself, just in case).

It's starting on Channel Five at 22.00 tomorrow for those of us that don't have Sky!

Series 2 starts here on October 16. As Series 1 started a week later in the UK I guess it should start there on the 23rd. Really looking forward to it – just hope they maintain the standard. It’s good to see Brits breaking into American TV.

I am really enjoying it, its up to my expectations. In the hope that they will escape and go to Hicksville take a look at some areas of the previous civilisation, make your way to Washington and other things, have a vacuum around the White House, maybe stealing a coptor and go to live in Alcatraz or something. That's what I would do.

I saw this for the first time on friday night & as a non-fan of all things Zombie I was expecting to be rubbish. But I couldn't have been more wrong - coz it turned out to be bloody brill! I must say the constant tension left me absolutely knackered by the end, but it was well worth the stress. And how good is Andrew Lincoln in it?! In fact, I thought the acting was real quality throughout: not to mention the excellent Zombie make-up & prosthetics. I hope it gets onto a freeview channel soon so us skinflints can see it regularly. Come in Channel 4 - get on it BIG time.
