New channel on Sky starts on Feb 1st. It will be showing Boardwalk Empire but also repeating great shows like The Wire and The Sopranos. Should be good. Anyone else tuning in?

Sleeping on the roof
so it's sky one but with drama repeated endlessly instead of comedy/sci-fi?

The fact that it will be the home of Mad Men means I will definitely be watching :)

Boardwalk Empire looks like it will be AMAZING. Rumour has it they spent 20+ million $ on the pilot episode?

There's a programme coming up on there in a few months called Game Of Thrones which sounds quite decent too.

I downloaded Boardwalk Empire just after release in America. Its a good series and the first episode is great. It also stars Steven Graham as Al Capone. Its worth watching.

Everything this channel plans on showing, I want to watch.

Compensate me, Virgin! Make Dave Virgin only, that'll teach the Sky lot.

Hopefully it will get all the American crap off the main channels.

The Wire beats any crime drama that the UK has ever produced IMO. Agreed - there's a lot of tosh that comes from the States but also a lot of good stuff too.

Just watched first part, can see how it was a costly production. looking forward to watching the series over next few days. will be worth the wait for those watching on sky. As has been said, Steve Buscemi always worth a watch
