That really isn't true, Bob. Home to Brentford, he was a constant thorn in their side, as he ran for (and sometimes won) some lost causes, although his passing on that day was shocking.I think it's mainly because apart from when unmarked four yards out twice everything else he has done on the pitch has been almost comically bad.
2 goals in a few sub appearances when only just back from injury...yes utter turd.![]()
Exactly. He has played minimal time and created loads of chances. Won a penalty. Scored two.
When he is fully fit that will hopefully increase.
I have only listened to the sensible bold comments.
You may not be able to call him shit yet but you can't call him any good either. People are pointing to his 2 goals.Well...They weren't exactly pieces of sublime skill or inspirational magic were they? Every single man, woman and child on this board could have scored them. Maybe we could 'do a job' too...
I think that sums up the stupidity of some people here.
A paralytic ape could have scored 90% of Van Nistelroys goals as well. He is arguably the best player inside the penalty box.
It is not about the finish, it is about the ability to get into the positions to score the easy chance, the movement before.
I very much doubt anyone here would score his goals as you would not be in the right place at the right time. That is the skill, not the finishing.
He looks like he may possess a skill no other player at the club has.
Words fail me.
