not up to it.......get rid.

im not too bothered.....the navarro, sparrow, dicker, murray, calderon, greer, etc are top players and can get us out this league, it is just that the lot in the title are really not good enough.

Our top scorer, very young, hard-working striker? Bridcutt has had some very good games...first game back from suspension is not always easy after a break, and Baz/Battipiedi are new to the country and show some potential. Hart is Hart is Gary Hart.

These players are ok playing in the 1st team to fill the gaps , the problem is when they make up half the team.

Lets c all the Barnes lovers bite back, he was as useless has he has been all season, I thought Hart done more than him today, and that is embarrasing.

Ok Ok he has scored 7 goals i get that but please have a look at how many good chances he has missed, and how many times does he give the ball away.

Eurgh, WHAT MORE CAN GUS DO?!?! He is using what we have got, and of course not everything is going to be perfect...can we just be happy we are top, still in this competition and playing good football?

Bridcutt? Quality out there today in my opinion, Hart wasn't bad either, Baz didn't have the best of games but still created chances, Batti on the other hand, well....

I think sam as I am an eternal optimist myself we are just going to have to accept that there are people out there that cannot see the good that players bring and do and will only ever focus on the negatives (i mean NOT constructively) and just try to bring everybody down.

:sigh:

Bridcutt is a fantastic player you utter LOONATIC!!! However... Baz and Battipiedi are, quite obviously, not up to it. They just simply aren't good enough footballers and it doesn't matter who the play for and against, they just are not, simple. We shouldn't berrate them like we do as they are young and errr... foreign. We know they aren't good enough and when others are back they will be out the squad. Hart is Hart, everyone knows he isn't up to it but what he brings to the dressing room is worth the poultry salary we pay him.

Now I know I will be SLATTED for this, but Barnes is quite frankly the most wasteful striker I have ever seen in an Albion shirt. This is not a quick reaction to the draw of today in which I felt we kept possesion and dominated, it was just we couldn't put the ball in the net and that was largely down to Barnes being utter TURD at finishing off chances put on a plate for him. He hits 10 and 1 goes in. He is a massive part of the reason we are not clearer at the top and in the FA cup third round today. (These views on Barnes are NOT a knee jerk reaction and have been formed through watching him at Tranmere, Peterborough, Southampton, Woking, Charlton and every home game this season... in which he has missed about 7094 chances)

Hart is not good enough to get in THEIR team let alone one challenging at the top of League One.

I have said it before and I will say it again, Barnes is not good enough to be the main goal threat for a team fighting for promotion. Not terrible, in fact some of his build up play is quite neat. Just not clinical enough in the box, or strong enough on the ball.

People can keep saying he will be ok once he scores a few, but he has scored a few and is still looking a bit shit. Also, I think he has a touch of petulance many have been quick to criticise in Murray.

Batipiedi. Not good enough.

Bridcutt, I think he is an ok squad player. As is Barnes. Just not STARTERS for me.

Batti and Baz will come clean. They show moments of pure brilliance that gus obviously sees, even if withdean don't. Its just a turn, a pass, a run. There are elements there that if we file away the rough edges, we'll have a right gem of a player in both.

Bridcutt not up to it? f*** off.
I agree with NMH to an extent. He's not our 20 a season man, but he has a place starting. His play is very neat and if he had a clinical striker next to him would be a class act.

OGH is a cult figure but will more likely be playing with Kerry Mayo at Newhaven next season.
