He needed the move. His career was going nowhere.

Nice goal, but give me Lua Lua every time.

Last two goals have been fantastic - I was always a fan of him but he could have done this a bit more often for us! Move does seem to have done him good, shame he's at Orient, for several reasons.

Good goal - better perhaps than any he scored for us.

But how long before the enigma kicks in - Dean "small" Cox / Billy "big" Bollocks - and he returns to running into traffic instead of into space and the end product becomes no product? Sorry to be negative because the lad has talent but he also has issues on and off the pitch. They prevented him from realising his potential with us and unless the shock to his system of being let go has a permanent effect they are likely to return and all we will ever see are brief glimpses of what could have been.

Two goals this season. Not bad, bit not ripping up the league as some people on this thread might be suggesting.

3 in 8 in all comps isn't a bad return. Better than any of our players!!

I think that we want him to do well, given he's from Brighton and even when he scored in the JPT he remembered. He's a good lad and Slade and him go well together.

I suspect the chance to be a big fish in Orient's rather tiny pond suits him.

Funnily enough I had a dream last night.

The synopsis is - I was at a game and Cox scored twice against us. He was subbed and I stood up and applauded him off the pitch. I had a conversation with the person I was sat next to, and we both agreed we were pleased for him but essentially wouldn't swap him back for anyone we currently have in the squad.

Dreams mirroring reality really. I realise the dream was essentially just a re-run of the Leyton Orient JPT game, only with a tad more surrealism ( which I won't go into here ) thrown in for good measure.

Exactly what I was about to say, but I thought the wording of the phrase was a little inappropriate.
