Is it time as a country we decided to stop never ending benefits ? By that i mean those long-term unemployed that have no desire to work, are made to do some form of workfare. The job centre when you walk past it in Stoke-on-Trent has a steady stream of people who are looking for work. However there is also what seems a never ending list of people that seem happy to sign-on and take the benefits. Its not nice to say but by manner and appearance many i would deem as un-employable,so is not time for 'candidates' to do some form of 'local' workfare ?
