just thought obviously if the pits were reopened then even more europeans would come here to work in them!
The whole thrust of the NUM's argument during the miners strike was that once closed , the pits would never be able to reopen because lack of maintenance would lead to flooding and subsidence.

TSLR. Not really,just feel this board is a good way to gauge opinions. I work in the private sector & are cheesed off with what i see of the Public sector. I know i am not alone.![]()
