Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Fog on the sea front lead me to believe that a visit to the Mecca of Football to take photos might be a waste of time.
However, at Falmer the sun lit up the morning sky and it was a scorcher.
The ring of steel is slowly starting to close.
All sorts of various tasks being carried out in the west stand on all levels and every else you looked throughout the site.
The SEEDA fly-over supports are now being joined up too.
4 lots of 5 photos on their way.
PS. Next JSFW will be Saturday 29th May.

Wow, for the first time in the amazing series of Jack Straw's Falmer Watch, I have got emotional looking at those photos. It actually is really starting to resemble something bigger and better than I ever thought we would have.

Thanks JS.

Posibly I just assumed it was the giant TV bit, Or perhaps a gantry for filming or the commentry stuff. Just saw the slant and assumed the screen would need a slant.

i think it is a studio of some sort judging by this picture:
screen must be on the other side of the north stand

Like the way we are now starting to see the curves revealing themselves. A bit like undressing a woman only in reverse.

Great stuff JS.

TV screen? Isn't that the MOTD studio?

That's what I thought. Either that or the security control box thing. Whatever it is the pictures today have been as amazing as ever. Things seem to be picking up more and more speed. I can't wait for Jack Straw's Saturday Falmer Watch!!

That's a concrete pumper.

I can see that, the white pump going up the out side of it, I meant the teracota coloured actual crain, I appears wonky, Wouldn't it be straight so I can be erected and then brought down again?

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
What more needs to be said?

Where did you take the photo of the roadworks, Graeme? Did you go climbing up the bank?
