he is right. Means teams like Leeds, Southampton, POmpey, Palace etc actually have to suffer for their mismanagement.

At the moment, the punishment is only 3 games worth of football in The Premier League and 4 games worth of football in the Football League. No way near enough a high punishment for cheating

It's never going to be as cut and dried as that, I mean if a club gets instantly relegated 2 divisions then they would lose out on a LOT of revenue by fans simply not bothering to turn up for the rest of the season as the games would mean nothing.

Perhaps there should be a rolling deduction for every period of time the club is in administration, say, 3 points per month then as long as they are out of admin for the start of next season they start with minus the total they lost in the last season.

I.e - Leyton Orient enter admin 4 months before the season finishes and come out of admin in the summer - they are deducted a total of 12 points (4x 3pt deductions, applied monthly) this season and start on -12 the next.

the conference doesn't let in teams in administration does it? so surely any league 1 going into administration would go into the regional leagues BELOW the conference north/south?

Two seem's a bit harsh, one maybe or at least a 30 point penalty as a club like Stockport or Southend who just don't have the reasources in the first place and no chance of a sugar daddy taking them over would find themselfs in non-league and the real threat of ceasing to exist all together.

Correct - Happened to Boston United around 3-4 years ago

I would go further and expel them from the Premier League and Football League. Teams would soon start spending within their means then.

I think the punishment should be relegation ONE division. Of course if you were relagated anyway [Saints / Portsmouth] you drop an extra one.

Teams that go into administration should not be allowed to get promoted the next season either. I hate teams that are in the shit one minute, and then paying loads to get glory the next.

Cardiff for example, why should the Premier League let them in after the whole pompey shambles

We have to stop teams from blatantly bending the law - Leicester, Leeds and Southampton - all of which have clearly benefitted unfairly by not paying normal creditors or cheating us the taxpayers by not paying PAYE and NI on time or at all.

I'd go further but not that far. I think a 2 division relegation and officially stripping them of any honours from the previous 5 years would be about right.

As a matter of interset, will Pompey be deducted more points next season, seeing as they would have been relagated ANYWAY, even if they didn;t have 10 points deducted?

No. The deadline is sometime in April. Pompey's deduction was before that, so the points were taken away this season. However, if Pompey cannot agree a CVA with creditors then they will start next season on minus points due to a further deduction.

Two divisions ? Yes, I agree, seems that Leeds and Southampton have come away in good shape and no doubt Pompey and Palarse will as well. The 10 point deduction didn't make any difference to Palace did it ? The other three were going down anyway.

While it would be very harsh on the fans it would force the people at the top to actually put in place and abide by a business plan.

Had a very heated debate with my Palace mate who thinks that the fact that Simon Jordan has lost 40 million quid at Palace should be punishment enough as it was not the fans or the players who got them in the shit yet is is they who are punished.

I disagree.

Anyway he said he would come to the REMF if I stopped arguing so I did!
