We are 3rd from bottem at the end of Febuary, we are in deep relegation trouble and have to start winning some games, we have to turn this good bit of form into 3 points before its to late

and there are 5 other teams above us within 3 points of relegation zone so it could be a completely different picture after a couple of wins

We have a tough little spell of games, but after Colchester the run in is relatively easy. We should be fine.

3 Points between us and 16'th.... We have a handy run of games coming up also.

I'd put my house on us staying up.

I'd much rather we actually won some games, rather than keep saying "we'll win our next one", or "if we play like we did against x then we'll be fine"

So hope it is, can see this going to the wire again, my old ticker carnt take it again

I agree that I rather hope we don't have to go through all that again so let's hope that things come together soon. On a positive note I think we are looking like a team that is capable of getting out of the mess sooner rather than later....can't say I felt as confident last season

Looking at the next four games Charlton hard game, Exeter should win but its at home, Colchester another hard game then swindon at home another hard game

The Exeter game is MASSIVE. 3 points from it and it should bring enough confidence for the run in, don't win it and I think we'll be fooked

The most promising thing though is we have come within minutes of beating the two best teams in the league in consecutive games. Compare that to the performances after the false dawn of S'hampton away and we are a much better side. Our squad is better than last season (and earlier this season), we have a better manager and are starting to look a solid team. If we can turn that into results against lesser opposition (and I believe we have a very good chance of getting a result Tuesday evening also) then we will be comfortably mid table by the end of the season. We've had some dreadful luck this season so far and if watching Brighton and football in general for over 30 odd years has taught me anything it's that bad luck, like good, doesn't last forever. The problem is if you're relying on luck alone and with our current performances it's clear that we're not. Keep the faith and don't panic.

(disclaimer - if it all goes horribly wrong you have my express permission to publicly whip my positive arse)

Poyet is doing ok.

League games.

Played 15
Won 4
Drawn 4
Lost 7
Points 16

Not exactly pulled up an trees but improvement is being made. If we do not get anything at Charlton and do not beat Exeter we could be 2nd bottom howver so time is starting to run out.

i think i'm drowning
asphyxiated
i wanna break this spell
that you've created

you're something beautiful
a contradiction
i wanna play the game
i wan't the friction

you will be the death of me
you will be the death of me

bury it
i won't let you bury it
i won't let you smother it
i won't let you murder it

our time is running out
our time is running out
you can't push it underground
you can't stop it screaming out

i wanted freedom
bound and restricted
i tried to give you up
but i'm addicted

now that you know i'm trapped
sense of elation
you'd never dream of
breaking this fixation

you will squeeze the life out of me

bury it
i won't let you bury it
i won't let you smother it
i won't let you murder it

and our time is running out
and our time is running out
you can't push it underground
you can't stop it screaming out
how did it come to this?
ooooohh

you will suck the life out of me

bury it
i won't let you bury it
i won't let you smother it
i won't let you murder it

and our time is running out
and our time is running out
you can't push it underground
you can't stop it screaming out
how did it come to this?
ooooohh

Exactly, we've just conceded three goals in the last fifteen minutes of the game against Norwich and Leeds, surely soon we will break the ice. On tuesday against Charlton?
