"That thread"

All,

I think a joke has gone far enough, if not too far, and "that thread" has been removed.

The lad in question made a bit of a mistake (ok, a complete howler) and I think has been taught a lesson about how powerful the internet can be and how we should all be guarded with how accessible personal information truly is in this digital age.

Google can index this stuff and it can linger around for a long time - I want to try and ensure that doesn't happen.

If anyone has or was thinking about doing anything stupid, please stop.

Can I please ask people respect my wishes and do not post any of the personal details of the chap in question on NSC.

I will 'tidy up' the thread, removing all specific personal references, and then it may see the light of day again.

Fair enough Bozza. I think this thread has taught us all a lesson about the dangers of having too much personal information on the internet. Whilst it was funny, it was also quite frightening.
