Great day.

Went back down the Witherspoons joint at the Marina Village thing afterwards. Didn't take long for us to top-up our incohol levels (funilly enuff) - & the Saints fans in there were refreshingly magnanimous in defeat. Marvelous times. :drink:

I think you could have hit on something there. Marvellous Times (if Gus can fulfil his potential and we move into Falmer as a Championship club) to replace Marvellous Scenes, which has been used more for one off, unlikely, events over the last few years. :clap2:

I liked that Wetherspoon's too. Very friendly in there before and after.

Mind you, my big mistake was popping down the pub for a celebratory pint when I got back home.
My second mistake was staying in there to watch the re-run on Sky at 10pm.
My final mistake was opening the scotch and NSC when I got home.

Great day out, but haven't really done Jack shit today and still not feeling 100% :drunk:

It's fair to say the crate of Stella I drank has left me feeling a bit worse for wear today.

I though it was brilliant, (but having said that I sort of get wound up in my own personal space when watching Brighton) The minutes silence was quite weird, mostly observed but it was a surprise so people who were being served had to finish their transactions and very quiet "what's this all about?" whispers.

Big shouts and cheers and jumping around when we scored, strong murmers of doubt about decisions until replays etc. never bother going there for other games but it was half way between me and my mates house screen was a bit smudgy but I would go again. More like an important England game terms of atmosphere everyone was grinning marvellous grins afterwards.

I had a wonderfull evening and ended up pretty much barking hatstand. I woke at 9.45 this morning and discovered on descending to the kitchen that I had eaten most of a pack of Chocolate Hobnobs on my return from the pub.

Glad to hear Exchange Neil got some real football custom for a change. Well done ya'll for getting the joint rocking & bumping up the ol' Sunday takings. Marvelous grins indeed!

That Chimay blue you brought round was dodgy, I feel like absolute shit today. And I am at work still, not 'taking a day off'
