Hot days are about the only thing that makes American mass-market lagers drinkable. I don't ordinarily drink any beer you can see through, but a 37º (F) Budweiser after mowing the lawn or whatever is just the ticket.
Although the month of June has been dreadful. Three times the average rainfall. No day with more than an hour of sunshine since the 18th, and yesterday's high was 58º. If you stand in one place for more than an hour, you'll sprout shelf fungus.
Harveys Pale (Think they brand it as Hadlow Ale) or Deuchars IPA both reasonably low gravity session ales for a nice summers day. For something a bit stronger Summer Lightning or Harveys Tom Paine (Tom Paine month starts tomorrow - hurrah). Or else a nice cold Budweiser - the proper Czech stuff not the American rubbish.
