Leighton Baines Oh, how I love that man. It's about time his FM greatness has transferred to real life! He's a quality left back, probably 3rd best behind Cole and Bridge, but he's class all the same and I'm glad he's in.

I don't understand why Leon Osman never gets in the squad though, he's a nifty little player. Quality midfielder, he's got fantastic technique and he's a little bit un-English in style in a way. I like him alot.

As for Ledley, he's incredibly talented, I never appreciated it until I saw him playing live. Really good, shame about his dodgy knees though. Woodgate not making the squad is a suprise though, and Upson who was injured and didn't play for Wham this weekend.

Nursed along.....a tad understated he plays on a saturday afternoon and thats it !

Great player i know. But surely Woodgate would have been a more sensible choice, and is a very good player. Injury prone to an extent also but has played the full season so far..

you cant turn up at a major championships with a player who cant play twice a week and not train !
