You are all too PC, that is the problem with a lot of society these days.

Your original post will prompt a response of at least 15 pages,Good work:lolol:

Of course, it all went wrong when the Albion replaced the Half-time Lynching with the Goldstone Gamble...

You've completely stereotyped yourself there.

Laugh at something racist, then qualify it by pointing out one of your ex-friends was er.. "coloured"

Did you call him chalky ?

Good work :lolol:

So i'm not allowed to laugh at Irish,English and Scotish jokes? Black ,muslim, jewish jokes either? but white jokes are ok?
Was you by any chance one of the council members in Wales who banned "Life of Brian" all those years ago?

Oh dear Algie, it just seems to follow you around doesn't it. So many of your posts are related to race and religion so don't try and pretend you are suddenly a liberal.

You wear it on your sleeve, don't deny it.

My dad would refer to someone who is of mixed race as coloured but if they were black would refer to them as a darkie. He doesn't think it is offensive or racist as these were polite words to describe black people in the 1950's and 60's.

But it sounds like your dad isn't offensive or racist and therein lies the difference.

.. and this isn't the 1950s.

The politically correct nanny state that we are all living in is to blame I feel. You often hear people whisper in sentence if they mention a "black man" or coloured man. When it should be perfectly normal and acceptable to do so. White or black, we are all human beings innit:thumbsup:
