From what MP said it sounds like he fears the worst about the report which will go to Prescott as the local planner and the main planner sat together and 'must have talked'.

Martin Perry stuffed that Liberal Democrat t*sser Norman Baker good and proper. What a fence sitter that argushole is. Next election hope the folks in Lewes boot him out.
So not all is lost. A friend of mine once told me that there is no such thing as Planning Law because when it comes to the end game the decision is usually political.
Falmer has become politicised and it would do no harm to remind 2 Jags thst the 3 Labour seats in B&H have always been marginal.
If he makes the wrong decision then Ivor Caplin may well have to go back flogging insurance. (He might then lose a bit of weight in the process.)
The message for everyone is WRITE NOW or EMAIL NOW !
We have only days, yes days, to make an impression.
Let's bury Whitehall in paper (and flowers).

I was nodding in agreement to every point you made. It was so refreshing to get someone on the phone-in who really knew what he was talking about. Eloquent, articulate, and to the point. You came across superbly well, and I thought, highlighted so many of the major shortcomings and inaccuracies in Hoiles report.
PLEASE become a regular on the phone-in. You put this stuff over so much better than most people Harty has on.

It was so important to get the phone-in off to a good start, ie. putting the campaigning message across rather than the later callers who were less well-focused and just thinking aloud on air, great job South Stand Zealot.
