Are you a litterbug?

Do you chuck stuff out of car windows, drop wrappers on the ground, have a picnic and just get up and walk away leaving all your empties and crap behind?

In short are you an unsociable, selfish bastard ?

Poll is a yes or no with no reference to you showing, as I'm sure nobody would actually admit to being a litterbug if everyone could see who they were :p

No, I was brought up properly.

I really pisses me off when lazy pikey drivers feel they have to chuck out all their rubbish from the car window as they drive along the road.

One of my pet hates.

People who litter should be knee-capped, although I appreciate this would mean they have no way of walking what is normally a short distance to the nearest bin, but I be they'll wish they had in the first place!

yep, I take pride in the City I live in, there should be harsher peanalties. I don't want to rake up the old smoking/non smoking again but why do dog end owners think they are exempt?

Quite often you see people along Madeira drive, just empty the contents of their car (usually fast food wrappers etc.) into the road.

I was wandering along with a friend and some pikey was just chucking bits of paper about. He had obviously been handed one of those envelopes with loads of offers/discounts etc. in and was sifting through the ones he wanted to keep. We trailed him and picked them all up and handed them back to him. He ended up launching them in the air and scarpering.

Isn't littering supposed to be a criminal offence? I have never seen anyone collared for it. One of my BIGGEST pet hates

I also did some beach cleaning as a holiday job. Quite good fun. Strolling along to Hove Lagoon in the sunshine, but the amount of people that just leave rubbish on the beach is astounding. Anything from food wrappers and cans to broken toys and dirty nappies.

:nono:

B&HCC need to provide bins with 'ashtrays' on the top. The amount of fag butts lying about is criminal.

I never litter.
Apart from used chewing gum, I usually just spit that out on the path. Doesn't do any harm does it.

I don't and it infuriates me to see people doing it. How often to you see adults littering when they have children with them ? It's no wonder that kids don't know any better. However, there aren't as many litter bins around now, that's because certain people put bombs in them.

Still, I wouldn't mind seeing litter wardens but just what could they do if some Chav told them to 'f*** off' ?

Hate the lazy inconsiderate scum who do this. I followed a car through Mitcham the other day and the fat munter in the back was throwing KFC (or similar) bones out of the window as fast as she could park the chicken in her ugly fat gob. These people are usually the same breed who consider spitting on pavements / roads acceptable. It is totally due to their upbringing and their parents (that's if they know who their father is) are nothing short of abject failures.

That's not unlike seeing somebody using their mobile when driving, both are illegal but would you report them ?

No problem. Someone else will doubtless take it home for you on their shoe.

Pointless reporting them as they will just deny it, same as mobiles you can prove they were using the phone but without CCTV proof it their word against yours.

I would say never, this is one of my pet hates (particularly fag butts and chewing gum)...however, I will hold my hand up to chucking the odd apple core out of my car window...on the premise that it will either be eaten by a bird or that the seed will go on to produce a tree and thus provide more food for other animals.

Often the kids are a bigger eyesore than the litter:bigwave:
