Shit that was close. Had to check on RAC Routeplanner (appreciate not as crow flies) but 7.21 miles to Selhurst Park but, thankfully, only 6.51 to Craven Cottage. (based on the hospital I was born in rather than first address which is slightly closer to Fulham),

The Albion. I'm pleased to say.

Palace is twice the distance from Cuckfield Hospital.

If you are unsure... as I was... this might help...

It looks like a toss up between Fulham and Reading or maybe Aldershot if they were in the FL way back then!
Brentford for me I think - would have been quite a bad result compared to the Albion for the past 30 years...

Cambridge, seeing as they were a league club when I was born; Peterborough if we are talking about current league teams. (born in Ely - RAF brat, you see)

Peterborough - born in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire then thankfully moved to Perthshire in Scotland. I've never lived near Brighton but the only team for me was only ever going to be the Albion thanks to my dad.
