I remember eating in a Thai restaurant in Brighton. At the end of the evening, one of the kitchen staff was sent out to buy a huge Chinese takeaway, which was shared between all the staff, who sat around one of the tables in the corner, eating it off the restaurant's plates.

It all felt very WRONG.

Went to the KFC in the Dallas/Fort Worth Stockyards and was surprised to find NO fries... just mash. As nice as the mash and gravy was, it doesn't quite go with KFC.

I did that in Manila, but my order came with Rice with mixed in veg as I didnt specify I wanted fries.

KFC in India is different too, it comes in a spicy batter, and you have to specify original American recipe if you want the standard recipe of 11 secret herbs and spices
