You're just being a fussy nelly now. A seagull is a seagull, who cares what BREED.
And think yourself lucky we're not still lumbered with THIS pile of cack !

Poorly drawn dolphins with downs syndrome. Struth.

Technically there is not such bird as a seagull, they are called Herring Gulls, Black-headed Gulls and Yellow-legged Gulls to name but a few.

I agree! But I still think our current club crest/badge is not as good as the old one!

Easy, your off kilter on this one mate. I think the new crest is SUPERB and a hell of a lot better than the old one. If I were a QPR fan I would be well chuffed.

i prefer the old one, the interlocking QPR is a strong club image, world famous probably.

i would be very unhappy if i was a QPR fan.

in regards to our badge, i think we should just have a seagull like the argentina kit and it's yellow away kit that season. we don't need anything else, just a seagull.

I retired from advertising a few years ago (having helped one or two decent companies rework their brand identities). My first reaction to this is that it will be hard to reproduce when it's small and the drop shadow will complicate the logo when reduced. You won't be able to read "Queens Park Rangers" at all. Unnecessary floweryness.

Shame really because the old logo delivered heritage and stuck the brand "QPR" big and bold in the middle. Old logo not dated - poor move but typical of a new broom.

I disagree COMPLETELY
It looks cheap and nasty. The plain text of the writing, the ludicrous panelled football the like of which has not been seen since about 1974, the naff crown, the fact that the whole badge reads like an address...and unlike their old badge, its not in the LEAST bit distinctive.

There really is only one word to summarise. And that word is "shit", I'm afraid.

yes, it could be a crest for any district or town council, or any other public sector group, its not very football is it (the football could easily be a rose). and trHansKraay reinforces how overstyled it is. Im swaying to the shit side of the fence.

Yes, thats why we are known as the Seagulls, it is pluralised to encompass all breeds, makes and hue of seagull. For your pedantic observation to be of any merit whatsoever we would need to monikered "The Seagull" which sounds more like a Pub or a Boat than a Soccer Team.
