For abusing the 'ask the club' facility that we have waited so long to get back?

Please use common sense when using this service and posting a question for the club. Those who blatantly look to take the piss will have their posting rights to this forum (or to the whole of NSC, if required) removed.

Leave the vulture alone ginger

I thought you only registered as vulture because kestrel got banned? How many names do you have?

Have registered 'sparrowhawk' and 'osprey' too?

I think Bozza should put a couple of extra 00's after the 7

Maybe we should start a poll to get public opinion on the matter? Gonna be a bit short of polls now :smokin:

It appears Vulture has been banned from NSC as well as "ask the Club". If it is a question to "Insider" that has caused the upset, why doesn,t the ban apply to that forum alone and NOT NSC as well.
I am not aware of the question asked by Vulture, so can,t really comment as to whether the moderators decision was fair or not. However, as I now see that even someone like "Hiney" (in my humble opinion, an appalling choice)can be a moderator, I am concerned as to whether moderators have any sense themselves.....?
In fairness, I have (up until Hineys appointment) always regarded the moderators as fairly normal people, judging from their posts, with an ability to be fair........not as I now fear, as nothing more than "schoolboy bullies" and an ability to drink themselves into a drunken stupor at every opportunity.

cjd, you couldn't be more wrong. Not just about Hiney but your assessment of the previous moderators.

Sorry Yorkie.....I did say that previously I had regarded the moderators in high esteem. However, with regards to Hiney, his continual comments and "group bullying" towards one particular poster on NSC sickened me.
I despise bullies who pick on the weak.I regard them as lowlife scum.
I appreciate that you, and many others know and like Hiney through his Albion following....and of course his many "falling down " episodes that one would associate with younger people, who have yet to grow up, but I,m afraid that I,m not one of them.
I,m sorry if I have offended you.

You haven't offended me at all. My post was a joke (hence the smilies) I was laughing at you assessment of the moderators as fairly normal people!!!!

Seriously though Hiney is a great bloke.

..

You're not BULLYING Hiney, are you? ???

Oh btw, by 'falling down' incidents, are you referring to Michael Douglas style rants, or Westons-inspired co-ordinationally challenged moments?

Blimey!

First things first. The question posed by Vulture would have warranted a ban from any forum.

As to me being a mod, I'm sorry you've got a problem with that. In my opinion, this board is pretty much self-regulating anyway. From what I've seen over the years, the majority of bans have been as a result of a mass of complaints from other users, rather than the mods piling in, wielding their 'power'.

As to my 'bullying', I assume you're talking about my various discussions with The Complete Badger. We both held particularly strong views about things and vented those. We've moved on and I would like to think that we would be sensible enough to share a beer if we meet at a future game.

Which moves on nicely to the attack on my 'ability to drink myself into a stupor at every available opportunity'. I like to have a beer when I go to football and on a few memorable occasions I have got pretty pissed. Nothing wrong with that. I don't want to fight anyone, I don't want to abuse anyone - most of the time I just want to cry or go to sleep! If I subsequently share my 'hilarious' antics with the people on here then what's the problem with that? As with ALL the threads on here, if you don't like them, don't read them .

I'm sorry that you feel that I should grow up but I am quite happy with the way I run my life thank you very much. You probably know very little about me and my family but I would be happy to have a beer (or mineral water if it would make you happier) to discuss it with you.
