Spain were 1 nil first half before winning nil. Expect 4 or 5 this half.
Well quite.

Didn't take long. All about going up a gear as needed.

Is Harry Kane now the 'greatest' out and out striker England have ever had?

I would say, yes.

OK not a wanker but a crap manager
That's fair enough. It's just the ugly abuse that irks me. I don't think he's a crap manager because players seem to like him, which is much of the battle, but I did find him very negative at times tactically which was a bit frustrating.

He is crap, won nothing as a player or manager yet had a squad of players that should have. Understatement of my footballing supporting life to say a BIT frustrating

He has scored a huge load of goals against dogshit opposition. And we seem to play an awful lot of games against one-legged Tarzans lately. These are just the hattricks

No disrespect to Andover but what is the point of this game?

Right, I'll bite.

If Tuchel ends up winning a trophy for us at the very next tournament, then I'll argue it's off the back of the foundations that GS laid.

In the same way that De Zerbi's success was thanks to the foundations that Potter laid.

It's great to see all those English club side flags at England games.
Doncaster
Crawley
Swindon
Maidstone
Stoke
Hull
Poole Town
Chigley
Trumpton
Camberwick Green

Makes me proud to be English.
And these days you can be arrested for saying that.

Not crap, just very very average.
I don’t think even a Southgate fan (of which there are many because he’s such a gentlemanly chap and that’s important apparently) would claim he’s a top class manager.
We will never know if a top manager could have won us a trophy.
I fear the moment has passed as several countries that were off the boil for a while, are now strong again.

There's an awful lot of hopping Tarzans around at this stage of qualifying
Some of them have a great left foot.
I've got nothing against their left foot.
The trouble is, neither have they.

Back in the day we'd beat the likes of Turkey 8-0, so I'm sure all strikers have had their share of games against shit opposition.

Look at Kane's performance in Germany. Broken records and been the best player last season. He may not be able to win a game on his own like peak Rooney, but overall, he's the best we've had.
