There's a recent trend online for Americans to assert that beans, cheese and tuna is a common topping (This notion was popularised by a purveyor of potatoes known as Spud Bros, I believe) . Has anyone on here actually eaten this?

What’s your fancy?

Prawn cocktail for me. Yes, I know it’s from the 70’s. No, I’m in my 30’s. Don’t care. Absolutely top drawer.
Used to be my favourite topping although I'd call it Prawns in Marie Rose sauce with the other prawn cocktail ingredients (such as iceberg lettuce) being shoved on the sides of the spud. Perhaps finished off with a light dusting of smoked paprika.

Firstly, beans are the spawn of Satan and should be consigned to room 101 forever.

Secondly, cheese with butter is number one choice by miles, but tuna mayo with sweetcorn (light on the mayo) and a few chilli flakes over the top is a superb second choice. Oh. Also maybe throw in Coronation Chicken as a wild card choice

I've gone beans cheese and coleslaw as my go to but what's the option for sweet and sour sauce with either chicken or pork?

Edit. By the way it needs to be butter then cheese then beans then cheese and coleslaw on the side...

Only have baked potatoes one way. Cut them in half, scoop out the potato, mash it with butter, milk, cheddar and salt and pepper, put it back in the skin, rake top with fork and sprinkle grated cheese on top, place under grill until topping is as desired.

My father used to make these, and are known as Pops’ pots in my family. Best eaten in autumn and winter though.

Scrape out the middle, mix with butter and Boursin while crisping up the shells, fill and top with cheese

No but i watch his channel, he puts the beans on top of the cheese where i prefer cheese on top of beans then pop them under grill

There are only two options IMHO

Cheese, Beans & Tuna Mayo

Or

Cheese & Chilli

I must stress, it is imperative that the cheese is the first topping on the hot potato to ensure maximum melting!

Also only extra mature cheddar should be used for any potato topping 👍

No. Crodo would be something like:

“Ahead of this glorious summer of sport, with the mighty Lionesses taking on the very best of Europe, what potato fillings will you be partaking in? Mrs. Crodo is partial to lobster” or something
I’ve long thought that Crodo was your alter ego.
