Will assess Barco when he returns. Am I going mad that I thought there was an obligation to buy clause in his loan or am I making that up?

The question with regards to injuries has a slightly perverse answer. Players are so much faster and fitter, and the game so much quicker, that it means more injuries will occur.

Worthing
Paul Barber (OBE) would rather be in New York, speaking at a UN conference on World Football Day, than appearing at our football clubs end of season fans forum.

I m absolutely disgusted, he should take a long hard look at himself, how could he possibly think that is more important than listening to John from Worthing’s question about why is there never enough guest pies in the WSU.

The man needs to get his priorities right!!

BARBER (OBE) OUT!!!🤬🤬

It is true, though.
The savagery of the 70s was mitigated by the fact that the 'hard men' were actually skinny tossers, and far too slow to cause much damage.

I mean, Norman may bite your legs, but look at his skinny arms

Although some players were so much bigger than they are now that a kick in the calf would barely be felt.

Is that it 🤣
