Yes I 'll watch it hope Palace win and beat the arrogant , fraudulent Man City bastards . They have a great team , a very similar club to Brighton in size and ambition. Just because I am a Brighton fan it doesnt mean I have to hate Palace ! I hate Man U and Chelsea for they way they run their clubs btw ! Come on Palace !
In this specific instance you don't even have to hate Palace, or have any grievance against them, to want them to lose.

If Palace win the cup, then it rules out our chance of playing in Europe next season. Any Albion fan should be cheering City on, if only for that reason.

The one thing that filth have never had over us, is that neither club have ever won anything. We have parity on that at least.

That disappears on Saturday. And you WANT that to happen ?? At least if City win, its just met with a collective "meh" across the planet. If Palace win though, they'll be gleefully rubbing our noses in it FOR. EVER.

AND they'll be in Europe for the first time, probably at our expense. Its just a disgusting situation all round, and frankly I am astonished anyone of a BHA persuasion would actually be pulling for them on Saturday. Astonished.

I'll be in the pub I expect....luckily my local doesn't have a television and the Palace fan that works behind the bar has a ticket so no chance one will magically appear before the weekend.

Not sure if I'll watch the actual game but looking forward to:

Joining the teams for Cup Final Breakfast at their hotels
Cup Final Question of Sport, featuring team captains Mark Bright and Niall Quinn
Shonky live coverage from the team buses that cuts out and / or freezes every time they go under a bridge
The pre-match pitch walkabout in Cup Final suits and floral button-holes.
Band of the Coldstream Guards, accompanied by Becky Hill and David Guetta playing Abide With Me

Brighton factually.....
I marked yes, but actually this has the potential to be a Fkn awful if Palace win, I will have to avoid the tv or social media for about a month.
My Liverpool ticket will be on exchange quicker than the speed of light as well.

As others have mentioned, a quick check at half time and maybe again on 70mins and if it looks like a sure thing City will win, I will pour a large glass of Whiskey, sit back and chortle quite a lot.

Contrast here. The only cup final I’ve ever watched was the 1983 one.
Personally, I’d like to see Palace win, I don’t go along with all the Palace hate and my son ( a Brighton fan) works for their Palace for Life Foundation.

You’d have Palace do us out of a place in Europe?

Because if Citeh don’t win, there’ll only be 7th position qualifying in the Premier League - with 7 points to catch Forest, that’s us out.

As I said above, it’s not about not hating or hating Palace, it’s about Europe for Brighton fans.

Suspect I'l tell everyone there is no God damn way I am watching it.
The reality is I'll try and busy myself with some non-urgent, imaginary task in the garden, only to keep 'checking in' and watching the nightmare unfold.

Then I'll get hooked, (like when you can't stop watching a really sh*t horror film).
Then Palace will win and that will ruin 2025.

(for our Europe chances, please Citeh, don't lose two cup finals in a row 🙏).

Yes, of course.

But I'll turn off at 60 mins when Eze puts them 2-0 up.

Ugh.

I will not be watching. It is on the same time as The Great Escape is on, as it usually is, so I won’t even be thinking about it until someone reminds me by mentioning it later.

A beautiful sunny day, a lovely music festival and great company…I would only have missed this if the Albion had made the final.
