Probably too soon for some to make our list of elites - but there are certainly at least a few all-time Albion legends in this current squad.

Pick all that meet your criteria of an Albion legend.

Lewis Dunk, that’s all.
I think that's right.

Solly would be in the same bracket if his career hadn't been blighted by injury in the way it has. He's been so unlucky.

Mitoma and Baleba are undeniably ‘elite’, but neither are Albion legends.

Dunk alone.

Mitoma feels like a no-brainer for the all-time legends list for me.

One of the best players to have ever played for the club, in the strongest ever history-making Albion side. He has ability, loyalty, humility and he has scored some of the greatest, if not THE greatest, Albion goals of all time.

Is the right answer.

Not sure any of the others have been here long enough or made a significant enough contribution.

Without injuries Solly may have been close, but if you go down the City line and erect statues for all and sundry, where would you stop…..

Charles Webb undoubted legend IMO for multiple reasons.
Dick Knight, Tony Bloom…..etc

Perhaps Wardy, Tommy Cook?

The list is endless

Yeah, just Dunky.

Welbz is a legend of English football, I'd say - loved at all the clubs he's played at and made a decent contribution at each. But a true Albion LEGEND? I don't think so.

Dunk
Wardy and Mellor
Nobby Horton
Steve Foster
Stuart Storer
Robbie Reinelt
Lawrenson
Zamora
I’ll also go with Gordon Smith because of the goal he did score - a highlight of my years supporting. The upper tier of Wembley bounced like the dance floor at Blackpool when that went in
Jimmy Case

and probably others but just one from the list posted for me.

I would have gone for Bruno…but!!

Looking at that list I’d say
Dunk
Ward
Steve Foster
Zamora

As for Storer and Reinelt they both obviously scored important goals but I don’t feel this alone qualifies them as club legends.

Leaving out our best ever captain Nobby Horton?

Without the goals from SS and RR we would have probably been starting again as a club so that is enough for me to give them legend status! Unlikely we’d be anywhere near the club we are now and would TB have even got involved?

I always feel there has to be a narrative alongside the football prowess. Dunk is the single club local lad who took us through the divisions and into Europe. Ward the free scoring striker who took us to the top flight and became our first England player. Fozzie the rock solid centre back who took us to a cup final, went to a World Cup and had that iconic headband. Etc etc. Nobby doesn’t quite cut it.

Dunk for sure. Mitoma has to make the list for me. It would be bizarre not to include one of our greatest ever talents who’s not played for anyone else in England (let’s hope it stays that way).

Of course they are legends.
You can be a legend for things you do over a career, or for one defining moment.
Storer and Reinelt qualify because what they did over two weekends 28 years ago are so momentous for the history of this club.

Yeah Dunk, the others have some way to go. Velts, Solly and WelbZ are the next possibilities.
