I’d agree he looked slightly more comfortable today. But he makes big mistakes every single game that often cost goals. Poor positioning for the Soucek goal, got drawn to the ball and then it went over his head.

Almost a carbon copy in the first half when soucek hit the bar.

That’s a goal and almost a goal that he was at fault for. So how can we say he had a good game overall as a defender?

No matter how well your overall game is as a centre back, these big moments is where he’s being found out.

Were; are, he’s still with us! Just don’t turn his defending into a foot race.

Although I agree, there's context to add. Firstly, on Saturday has spend the entire game coaching Baleba, effectively being the brain for two players, which he did effectively. Secondly, Greer said last week that although fit, he still isn't match fit and hasn't been since his injury. He is on the decline, but he isn't dead yet

Great article, with a little stretching of the truth

There were play-off disappointments, none greater than when he gave Albion the lead at home to Sheffield Wednesday on a memorable evening in 2016, only to be fouled as Wednesday equalised and went on to the Wembley play-off final.

He’s 80-odd appearances away from being our ALL TIME record appearance holder I believe which I very much want him to achieve.

Glenn Murray has all the goals but Dunky is the real hero above all the rest. And I won’t hear any slander on him.

When he miscontrolled it for Leicester’s first goal I genuinely didn’t care a jot. He’s put his body on the line enough times in 15 years.

Looks like he's injured again, seeing as not on the team sheet.

Poor sod. He's had a really rough time of injuries this season. Stopped him getting a decent run and flow.

That said, I'm putting money on him being recovered and in much better form next season. I don't buy the he's too old chat.
he certainly isn't to old, but he is older, and injuries will become more frequent and take longer to heal. Next season if fit he will be a first name on the team sheet, but I can see a couple more injuries and he will become a sub more and more often. There must be a plan to transition away from Dunk as automatic choice and I would expect that to become more apparent the further into next season goes. The last thing we want is to lose Dunk half way through and not have an experienced line up ready to go

A fit Webster and JPVH would be my choice over Dunk these days. We will be signing a quality CB this summer surely? Good as he is when fit Webster is too much of a sick note imo
