Agree. Hes not the quickest so that's where the danger lies. We've been exposed a couple of times on that side. He's done well generally though

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to think the ref's having a poor match.

As for the actual match, it's pretty uneventful and it's nice to be winning. Our defence does considerably worry me however. Even not playing particularly well, and with all of our players back and seemingly in position, it just seems really easy for Newcastle to play through us. Luckily they've been fairly lacklustre in the first half. Fingers crossed that continues.

We definitely need at least a second though. We don't seem to believe in clean sheets.

Also, what was minteh's 'celebration' about? Was he apologising or telling them to f*** off?

I thought he was trying to kiss the shirt?

Near the end of the first half was an really good example of where we can do the good and bad in the same move.

Van Hecke was playing the ball around until four Newcastle players took the bait allowing Van Hecke to make a great line splitting pass we were then had the ball outside their box with four players scrambling to get back (this was the good bit)
we then slowed the game down until all the out of position players were back behind the ball (this was the bad bit).

Second half we need to speed that midfield transition with some support from midfield into the box
